Refund & Return Policy

We want your Kryptic Kuties order to arrive safely and match the product you purchased.

Because many of our dolls, curiosities, vintage objects, altered pieces, and handcrafted items are unique or one-of-a-kind, our return policy is different from that of a conventional retail store.

Please review this policy before purchasing.

Returns

Unless otherwise stated on a product listing, eligible items may be returned within 14 days of delivery.

To be eligible for a return:

• you must contact us within 14 days of confirmed delivery
• the item must be returned in the same physical condition in which it was received
• all original components, accessories, documentation, tags, and packaging must be included
• the item must not have been altered, damaged, repaired, cleaned, repainted, modified, or otherwise changed after delivery

A return must be approved before it is shipped back.

Unauthorized returns may be refused.

One-of-a-Kind and Handmade Items

Many Kryptic Kuties products are:

• handmade
• vintage
• antique
• altered
• repurposed
• restored
• one-of-a-kind

Natural wear, age, imperfections, discoloration, repairs, fabric wear, cracks, fading, or other characteristics may be part of the item's documented condition.

These characteristics are not considered defects when they were visible in photographs or disclosed in the product description.

Paranormal Claims Are Not Grounds for Return

Reported paranormal activity, lack of paranormal activity, changes in perceived energy, dreams, feelings, sounds, spiritual experiences, or similar subjective experiences are not considered product defects.

Returns will not be approved solely because an item is:

• not haunted enough
• more active than expected
• inactive
• believed to contain a spirit
• believed not to contain a spirit
• producing unusual energy
• no longer producing unusual energy
• creating subjective emotional or spiritual reactions

Non-Returnable Items

The following items may not be returned unless damaged or incorrect upon arrival:

• customized or personalized products
• made-to-order items
• gift cards
• downloadable products
• digital products
• items marked final sale
• products that have been materially altered after delivery
• hygiene-sensitive items where applicable

Any additional restrictions will be stated clearly on the product page.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, contact us as soon as possible.

Please include:

• your order number
• photographs of the item
• photographs of the shipping box or package
• photographs of any visible damage
• a photograph of the shipping label

Damage claims should be reported within 3 days of delivery whenever possible.

Do not discard packaging until the claim has been resolved.

Return Shipping

Unless the return is due to our error or verified shipping damage, customers are responsible for return-shipping costs.

We strongly recommend using:

• a trackable shipping method
• appropriate insurance
• secure packaging

Kryptic Kuties LLC is not responsible for returned items that are lost or damaged in transit.

Original Shipping Charges

Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable unless the return resulted from our error.

Refunds

Once an approved return is received and inspected, we will notify you whether the refund has been approved.

Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method.

Processing times vary by payment provider and financial institution.

Partial Refunds

A partial refund may be issued when an item is returned:

• missing components
• damaged after delivery
• altered from its original condition
• inadequately packaged
• otherwise diminished in value

Order Cancellations

Because many items are unique, orders may begin processing quickly.

Cancellation requests should be submitted as soon as possible.

We cannot guarantee cancellation after an order has entered fulfillment or shipped.

Chargebacks

If there is a problem with your order, please contact us before initiating a payment dispute so we have an opportunity to resolve the issue.

Fraudulent or abusive chargebacks may be contested using order, shipping, communication, and delivery records.
