A Note Before You Bring Something Home

Kryptic Kuties deals in unusual things.

Some arrive with names. Some arrive with histories. Some arrive with stories that have followed them for years. Others simply carry the uncomfortable distinction of having come from places, families, or circumstances where unexplained activity has been reported.

We preserve those stories because they are part of the history of the object.

We do not, however, claim that paranormal activity, spirits, entities, attachments, curses, residual energy, or other supernatural phenomena can be scientifically proven.

By purchasing from Kryptic Kuties, you acknowledge and agree to the following.

1. Paranormal Claims & Stories

Descriptions involving hauntings, spirits, entities, energy, curses, unusual activity, paranormal experiences, or unexplained events are provided as history, folklore, previous-owner accounts, personal experiences, entertainment, or documentation associated with the object.

Unless specifically stated otherwise, these accounts have not been independently or scientifically verified.

Kryptic Kuties makes no guarantee that:

• an item is haunted;
• an item contains or carries an entity or spirit;
• paranormal activity will occur;
• paranormal activity will cease;
• an item's reported energy will change after relocation;
• any particular spiritual, supernatural, emotional, or physical result will occur.

We tell you the story as accurately as we know it.

What you choose to believe about that story is yours.

2. Relocation Philosophy

Part of the philosophy behind Kryptic Kuties is the belief that environment may play a role in experiences associated with certain objects.

Some pieces are removed from locations associated with grief, trauma, conflict, abandonment, death, or repeated reports of unusual activity and then placed in new environments.

We do not represent this process as a scientifically established method of cleansing, removing, neutralizing, or altering paranormal activity.

It is simply part of the history and philosophy behind what we do.

3. No Guaranteed Paranormal Experience

Purchasing an object from Kryptic Kuties does not guarantee an experience of any kind.

A doll may arrive and remain completely uneventful.

That does not make the item's documented history less real to the people who experienced it, nor does it entitle the purchaser to a refund solely because paranormal activity did not occur.

Conversely, Kryptic Kuties cannot predict what a purchaser may interpret or experience after receiving an item.

The paranormal remains, rather inconveniently, unwilling to cooperate with a warranty department.

4. Collector Items, Not Children's Toys

Unless a product is specifically identified as suitable for children, items sold by Kryptic Kuties should be considered decorative collectibles, artwork, antiques, altered objects, curiosities, or display pieces.

Some may contain:

• vintage components;
• small parts;
• glass;
• metal;
• adhesives;
• aged fabrics;
• fragile materials;
• sharp components;
• unknown historical materials.

They are not intended for unsupervised use by children.

Keep all items away from infants and young children unless specifically marked otherwise.

5. Vintage & Handmade Condition

Many items are handmade, modified, restored, repurposed, vintage, antique, or previously owned.

Wear, aging, fading, staining, cracking, repair marks, fabric deterioration, missing components, discoloration, and other imperfections may be part of the item's history.

We make reasonable efforts to photograph and describe significant condition issues.

Colors and appearance may vary slightly due to lighting, photography, screens, and the undeniable inability of monitors to agree on what purple looks like.

6. One-of-a-Kind Items

Many Kryptic Kuties pieces are unique.

Once a one-of-a-kind item has been purchased, an identical replacement may not exist.

Photographs of handmade items represent the actual item whenever reasonably possible.

7. Personal Beliefs & Emotional Reactions

Paranormal subjects can create strong emotional reactions.

You are responsible for deciding whether owning an item associated with death, haunting, tragedy, folklore, occult history, or other unsettling subject matter is appropriate for you or your household.

Kryptic Kuties is not responsible for personal interpretations, dreams, fear, anxiety, beliefs, household disagreements, or other subjective reactions associated with ownership of an item.

If paranormal material causes significant distress, we strongly encourage you not to purchase these objects.

8. Religious, Spiritual & Occult Interpretations

Kryptic Kuties does not represent or endorse any particular religion, spiritual practice, occult system, paranormal theory, or belief regarding the afterlife.

Words such as spirit, entity, attachment, haunted, energy, curse, or similar language may be used when documenting reported histories.

Their use should not be interpreted as a theological or scientific claim.

9. Product Pricing

Prices are based on factors including craftsmanship, rarity, age, provenance, materials, time invested, artistic work, condition, history, and collector interest.

No portion of a product's price should be interpreted as a guarantee of supernatural activity.

Apparently even ghosts have failed to establish a reliable appraisal standard.

10. Returns & Refunds

Returns, exchanges, cancellations, and refunds are governed by our separate Refund & Return Policy.

Claims that an item is:

• not haunted enough;
• more haunted than expected;
• spiritually active;
• spiritually inactive;
• giving off unusual energy;
• behaving differently after relocation

do not automatically qualify an item for return or refund.

Physical damage, shipping problems, incorrect items, and other conventional merchandise issues will be handled according to our Refund and Shipping Policies.

11. Shipping & Risk of Damage

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information.

Shipping timelines are estimates unless otherwise stated.

Kryptic Kuties is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, customs, incorrect addresses, or events outside our reasonable control.

Damaged shipments should be photographed immediately, including the item, packaging, and shipping label, and reported according to our Shipping or Refund Policy.

12. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise stated, photographs, artwork, product names, stories, written histories, branding, logos, designs, graphics, website content, and original materials appearing on the Kryptic Kuties website belong to Kryptic Kuties LLC or are used with permission.

They may not be reproduced, republished, copied, sold, or commercially used without permission.

Purchasing a physical item does not transfer copyright or intellectual-property rights associated with its artwork, photographs, story, or branding.

13. Website Information

We make reasonable efforts to keep product descriptions, pricing, availability, photographs, historical information, and other website content accurate.

Errors can occur.

We reserve the right to correct errors, cancel orders affected by obvious pricing or listing mistakes, and update information when necessary, subject to applicable law.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Kryptic Kuties LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from the use of this website or ownership of products purchased from it.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.

15. Agreement to These Terms

By accessing this website or purchasing from Kryptic Kuties, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these terms and understand the nature of the products being offered.

If you disagree with these terms, please do not purchase an item.
